American Girl Store (Girl's); Day 2

November 3; Los Angeles American Girl Store

DOLL SALON:
The girl's went to the store prior to opening for a tutorial on how to "do" their doll's hair. They had a great time!

AMERICAN GIRL CAFE
We had an amazing time at the American Girl Cafe. The girl's felt so grown up as they ate with "fancy" dishes, and as they were served a full course meal. The waiter's were over the top fancy. They were all decked out in white, and spoke with such elegance--it truly gave a "catered" feeling to the whole experience.
In the center of every table there was black and white strips of paper with questions to be used for dinner conversations. It was so fun to hear some of the responses of my sweet girls. I found myself a bit surprised and enlightened.

Mini Dishes for Dolls

The finale of the dinner was the CAKE. The flaming candles on a silver platter was a nice touch!

We love American Girl. We love the stories, the meanings behind the stories, the whole idea of shining from within. Going to the store, and experiencing some of the magic was a fantastic experience!!!
