Spring Break

SPRING BREAK

We had so much fun during Spring Break. We stayed in Boise for most of the week. At first I was disappointed, because Bryan had a business trip and I wanted to go on a family vacation; however, after spending a relaxing week at home with the kids, I was grateful to have slowed down a bit from the busy pace of school. At the end of the week when he got home, we vacationed at the cabin--a perfect end to a perfect week!

CAMEL'S BACK PARK

Someone at Camel's Back Park had a slack line rope set up, and they allowed the kiddos to try it out. It was so much fun! We have never done anything like it before. They are asking if we can possibly buy the materials so they can try it again.

St. Patrick's Day

St. Patrick’s Day Countdown

I sometimes question my sanity when it comes to holidays. Yes, ...I realize that St. Patrick's Day is really only a small holiday in which most people forget to even where green. It's not that I want to make myself crazy--although I sometimes feel that I am--it really boils down to family time for me. Every countdown/holiday celebration results in a lot of family time. Family time is precious. It seems like the world is constantly encroaching on this precious time. I'm learning that I have to plan ahead to MAKE time for the most important things. Sports and activities are fun, and they are worthwhile, but they can't be allowed to take the place of time spent as a family. As I plan my "holiday" countdowns (I have several), I make time for our family. Sometimes this means that we do our celebrations late, and go to bed a bit later, but for me--that's okay, because we are spending time together making memories, and building relationships.

Wahooz

WAHOOZ

The kids received Wahooz passes from school, so we took the family for a FUN-FILLED DAY! We had so much fun racing on the go-carts, playing miniature golf, laser tag, and bowling. It must have been an "on" day for me, because I got several holes in one, which NEVER happens--I'm not that good.
