Evan's Endowment

Evan Gets His Endowments

It's such a sweet experience to go to the temple with my family. I am grateful for the Gospel. I am grateful that families can be together forever. I am grateful for temple ordinances that seal us together making it possible for our families to be forever. I am in awe at the love that my Heavenly Father has for His children.

I can't even imagine...

A picture posing for Grandma Jo. Grandma Jo is on her mission, so Evan is holding on to both of his grandma's--one here, and one far away.

Cabin

Happy Memorial Day!

We enjoyed a break from our "chaos" by going to the cabin. We were excited to find the Jeff Miller's there. It's always fun with the "other Miller's".

I am grateful for the cabin. I will never be able to thank my in-law's enough for the gift of our "getaway". My children will be blessed for the memories we have created!

Carly and Logan

CARLY and LOGAN
Get Baptized!

The biggest event of this weekend was that Carly and Logan got baptized. Sadly, I don't have any pictures of anything surrounding that event. I have a few of us goofing off afterwards at Kathleen's house, but nothing more. I totally forgot to get out my camera until it was too late. I am so sad!!! After celebrating with our family on this joyous occasion, Bryan and I took our kids to our old stomping grounds. It brings me way way back to when Bryan and I were newlyweds, totally poor, but loving every minute of college life together. I love Logan, Utah. I love being an Aggie. Utah State was definitely a great school to attend!

Famous Aggie Ice Cream

Bryan and I never became a true "Aggie" while at Utah State. We still thought it was funny to introduce our kids to the "A".

GOOFING with FAMILY after the Baptism:

Jacob Playing Soccer

Jacob is beginning to understand the game of soccer. He use to watch his teammates as they ran around the field with the ball, and now he gets right in there and plays with them!

Smarty Pants

National Honor’s Society

Hailey was selected to be a member of the National Junior Honor's Society. It was a big deal. She had a rigorous application process, and only 40 students out of 100 were chosen. The student's chosen had to have a high GPA, they had to write an essay, and they had to recommendations. She was ecstatic to have been chosen. The goal of the Honor's Society is to SERVE! Hailey can't wait to get started.

2nd Place

SOCCER

Hailey had two amazing seasons with this team. Coach Dave taught Hailey a lot about soccer, which will hopefully prepare her to make the high school team in just over a year. Making the high school team is one of Hailey's dreams. She has been working hard on her own time to accomplish this goal.

This team had two amazing seasons. The were the U-14 Champions in the Fall, and they came in 2nd Place for the Spring. The Spring Tournament ended in penalty kicks, and our team lost by 1 penalty shot. It was a discouraging way to lose a game, but an amazing experience to have played to penalty shots. To have played the whole game without giving up a goal, is a huge accomplishment.

A few tears in this picture.

Girls Night Out

WICKED

For Christmas, Bryan gave the girls and I tickets to "WICKED". The girls were ecstatic. They received this gift in December, but the play wasn't until May, so it has been a long anticipated event. For five months, they have waited! I think it was worth the wait! I absolutely love this play, and I thought it was even better with two of my favorite people.

I am so grateful that I have the opportunity to spend time with my family. It doesn't always have to be something as big as "Wicked"--simply spending time together is enough. Spending this time together, reminds me to treasure the moments. It reminds me to take time for the most important things in life. My kiddos are growing up so fast, and before I know it--they will be all grown, and I will never get this time back. I know I shouldn't be wishing years away before those years happen, but I think it is wise to realize how precious this time truly is. I can't get back these years. My time is now. I want to live each moments as if it counts. I want my kids to know that they are the most important...along with the Gospel--of course!
