News Year's 2009
For New Year's we were able to go to my sister's cabin. It was so fun to relax by the fire, go sledding in the snow, and to play games all night! We truly had a great time. The only down side of the experience was the very few people who were willing to stay up until midnight on New Year's. (They were all tired!!!) It was a great couple of days playing with Bruce and Patty, Mom and Dad, Michelle and Dave, and Brandon! (And of course all of their kids!)
The kids found a spot where they thought it was more fun to slide down on their bottoms rather than a sled. Here is Amber experiencing the hill on her bottom!
Here is Jakey, Daddy, and Hailey sliding down on their bums. (I thought it looked painful, so I didn't participate.)

Cooper, Hailey, Jacob, Amber, & Bryan Here are the kids getting ready for night sledding. They had so much fun sledding in the dark (on the road), and being pulled by the car back to the top of the hill. (It sounds dangerous!!) It probably was a good thing that I didn't know exactly what they were doing until they had already come inside!
