We have had so much FUN celebrating Valentine's Day! We started at the beginning of the month with a scripture/activity countdown. The month's activity focused on kindness and love. This is the second year we have done this activity, and I have absolutely loved it! It seems to cause all of us to reflect on what truly matters, and how we are behaving in our social relationships. Throughout the month we had several discussions on different situations pertaining to how we should be treating others. Along with getting in touch with our spiritual side, we played like crazy! We heart-attacked, door-bell ditched, left cookies with friends, and simply played! On Valentine's Day, we continued our "playing" with a few more activities, and not all of us wanted to participate...
This was the beginning of our Valentine's Hershey Kiss Treasure Hunt... Jake had just been awakened from a nap, and he was definitely not excited to be participating!
The end result seemed to cheer him a bit!
