ZOO WITH THE CRITCHFIELD'S & MORE FUN
The Critchfield's came to visit, and we had to show them a good time!

This was my favorite experience ever at our zoo. I'm not sure what is so fun about feeding animals, but I absolutely love it!

There were thousands of geese throughout the zoo. It was fun to capture a picture of them once in a while.

After the zoo, we caught up with Bryan at Panda Express. We thought Bryan's fortune cookie was the best!

GIRL'S CAMP
This years girl's camp was held at the older cabin in Featherville. Because the cabin belonged to Bryan's parents, I was asked to attend. 

We hiked the "loop", which is about a 7 mile hike. Some of the girls had a hard time with the length, but I felt it was great!

Crafting ~ I was asked to be in charge of the crafts! We made spiritual thought notebooks, themed magnets, wooden bracelets, value colored bookmarks, and key chains. 

Bishop's Night

The girls were asked to retire a flag. Brother Phillip's taught about the importance of the ceremony, and instructed the girls how to respectfully place the flag in the flames. Hailey was extremely touched by this ceremony.

 SNIPE HUNT:

Hailey was a champ through the SNIPE HUNT. She did exactly what she was told. Through the thrill of the event, we heard a few squeals, and screams intermixed with laughter. When she realized the "truth", she couldn't start laughing and talking about the different scenarios with the hunt. It was such a fun experience for her to bond with the other young women.

 JACOB AND AMBER:
Jacob and Amber stayed at the "big cabin" with Grandma and Grandpa. Every once in a while we would see them, but not often. It was fun that they were still close by, and yet not... all at the same time.

I love that we meet at the cabin once a year and celebrate being a family! I love our Family Devotionals, our Late Night Games, our Food Eating, and our BONDING. I love FOREVER FAMILIES. I believe in this with all of my heart. We are FOREVER!

Family Hike

The Three Amigos

Happy Twelfth Birthday, Hailey!
We started the day out at the temple, then we were off to Jump Time and the Zoo with Hailey's BFF, Taylor Harris, then we met up with Hailey's other BFF, Kortlyn Lowry, and finally we spent the evening as a family riding the green belt and opening presents. Whew. Big Day.

Hailey turned 12 today. We celebrated by going to the temple for baptisms for the dead. It was a long anticipated event. The spirit was so sweet, and my mom heart was swollen with gratitude. I can't believe my daughter is 12.

Hailey wanted Cookie Dough Pizza from Primo's for her cake this year. The green jello, and colored candy in the background was just an extra touch of fun. Because she is now entering YW's, I decorated with the YW COLORS! {The cute necklace Hailey is wearing was given to her by her buddy, Kortlyn.}

Hailey likes collecting the American Girl Dolls. This is Nellie. She is an expired doll, and Hailey really wanted to collect her.

Grandma bought Hailey a sewing machine for her birthday.
