Miller Family Conference

Miller Family Conference 2016

This year we had a storm trooper as a boyfriend for Hailey, a playmate for Jake, and a photo-op for everyone else. We had a blast spending time together and growing together as a family! I'm not sure which activity was my favorite: swimming at Popsicle Pond, nature walks through the meadow, or adventuring with cousins, but one thing I know for sure--I love the Miller Family and our tradition of Family Conference.

Family Conference Day 2: July 4

Miller Family Conference
Happy Fourth of July

I wish I could write something that would speak the words in my heart. When I think of family gatherings, my heart swells with gratitude. Family offers my heart joy that can be found nowhere else. I am so grateful that God created families. I have now doubt that these family relationships go beyond the grave. They are eternal. And as we build stronger relationships here, we will be united in the eternities.

Funny Face~I'm not so good at that.

Cleaning the Rocks off the Hill

 Boat Races

This is the silliest tradition ever, and my favorite tradition ever! I love how excited we get over in-adamant objects. I love the cheering. I love the fun. I love the competition. I absolutely love it!

When we arrived home, we set off a few fireworks since we couldn't set them off at the cabin.

Family Conference Day 1

Miller Family Conference

We had so much fun at this year's family conference. I loved Dan and Dana's creativity with the activities. They did a great job of involving everyone and creating excitement among-st the family. My favorite activity was the challenging egg drop. I loved the anticipation and the excitement of the kids as their contraptions protecting their eggs were dropped from the deck. With each round and each new drop, a new twist was added to the game. By the end, my cheeks were sore from laughing and smiling--which is always a good problem to have.
